GRADE 8 - REGISTRATION FOR 2026

Parents can apply ONLINE for placement of their Grade 8 children in 2026 from

THURSDAY 24 JULY 2025 - 29 AUGUST 2025.

The placement criteria as determined by the Department of Education are as follows:

1. HOME ADDRESS within school's FEEDER ZONE closest to the school.
2. SIBLING already enrolled at Hoërskool FH Odendaal.
3. WORK ADDRESS within 30km radius of the school.
4. HOME ADDRESS within 30km radius of the school.
5. HOME ADDRESS beyond 30km radius of the school

Required documents for application.

ONLY CERTIFIED COPIES

1. Current school's academic report card. GRADE 7, TERM 1 REPORT CARD.
2. Child's BIRTH CERTIFICATE. (If Non-SA citizen a valid Study permit or Passport).
3. Parent's or guardian's ID. (If Non-SA citizen a Passport).
4. HOME OWNERS:

          Water & Electricity account / Municipal account  no

          older than 3 months in the name  of the applicant's

          parent bearing the full physical residential address.

     5.  TENANT:

• Water & Electricity account / Municipal account no

          older than 3 months in the name  of the landlord bearing

          the full physical residential address.

• Copy of the landlord's ID.
• Lease agreement signed by the landlord and the tenant, bearing the full physical residential address.
• Statement of any account in the name of the applicant's parent bearing the full physical residential address (FICA documents).
• Rental payment receipt with full physical residential address no older as 3 months.

    6.  Proof of work address.  Letter from employer on

          letterhead no older than 3 months.

PLEASE NOTE:

NO AFFIDAVIT IS ACCEPTABLE.

NO BANK STATEMENT IS ACCEPTABLE.
