GRADE 8-REGISTRATION FOR 2026:
Parents can apply ONLINE for placement of their grade 8 children in 2026 from
THURSDAY 24th July 2025 -
FRIDAY 29th August 2025.

The placement criteria as determined by the Department of Education is as follows:
1 HOME ADDRESS within the school's FEEDER
ZONE closest to the school.
2 SIBLING (brother or sister already enrolled at
Hoërskool FH Odendaal).
3 WORK ADDRESS within 30km radius of the
school.
4 HOME ADDRESS within 30km radius of the
school.
5 HOME ADDRESS beyond 30km radius of the
school.
PLEASE NOTE:
=NO AFFIDAVIT IS ACCEPTABLE
=NO BANK STATEMENT IS ACCEPTABLE
Required DOCUMENTS for Application:
(IT MUST BE CERTIFIED COPIES)
A Current school academic report card
(grade 7, term 1 2025).
B Child's BIRTH CERTIFICATE (If non-SA
Citizen a Study Permit or Passport).
C Parent's or Guardian's ID DOCUMENT (If non
SA citizen a passport).
D Proof of residence.
HOME OWNERS:
Water & Electricity Account / Municipal
Account (not older than 3 months) in the
NAME of the applicant's parent bearing
the full physical residential address.
TENANTS:
1 Water & Electricity Account / Municipal
Account (not older than 3 months) in the NAME of the landlord bearing the full
physical residential address.
2 Copy of landlord's ID.
3 LEASE AGREEMENT SIGNED by the
landlord and the tenant, bearing the full
physical residential address.
4 STATEMENT of any account in the name of
the applicant's parent bearing the full
physical address (FICA documents).
5 Rental payment receipt with full
physical residential address, not older than 3 months)
E Proof of WORK ADDRESS. Letter from
Employer on letterhead not older than 3
months.
