SCHOOL UNIFORM FOR SENIOR PHASE - GRADE 8 & 9

Starting in 2024, Grade 8 girls at FHO will gradually introduce a new school uniform featuring grey pants and skirts. This change aims to enhance comfort and unity among our students.

You can use these images as a guideline for Senior Phase - Grade 8 & 9 only.

GIRLS

  • Shoes: Black flat heel shoes with strap/laces.
  • Socks: White short socks, or long grey socks / navy stockings. (Navy stocking only be worn with long sleeve shirt, tie, pullover and blazer.)
  • Skirt: Grey, modest fit, length 5 cm from floor when kneeling.
  • Trousers: Grey, no tight-fit. Must reach shoelace knot.
  • Shirt: Sky blue short-sleeve / long-sleeve. Top button fastened with tie.
  • Jersey/Pullover: Neat school jersey.
  • Blazer: Compulsory with school badge.
  • Tie: Compulsory when long-sleeve shirt an/or blazer is worn.
  • Bucket hats: Official school items only. Only worn breaks, before and after school.
  • Beanie: Official school items only. Only worn breaks, before and after school. WINTER ONLY.
  • Scarf: Official school items only. Only worn around the neck. WINTER ONLY.
  • Odie wear: Compulsory for first 3 weeks. LO sport days thereafter.
  • Tracksuit: May only be during June exams / at sports events before and after a match is played.
  • Tracksuit top: May never be worn with school uniform.


BOYS

  • Shoes: Black school shoes.
  • Socks: Long grey socks with blue and white fine stripe.
  • Trousers: Grey, no tight-fit. Must reach shoelace knot. NO ZIPS! NO ALTERING!
  • Shorts: Grey school shorts.
  • Shirt: Sky blue short-sleeve / long sleeve. Top button fastened with tie.
  • Jersey/Pullover: Neat school jersey.
  • Blazer:  Compulsory with school badge.
  • Tie: Compulsory when long-sleeve shirt an/or blazer is worn.
  • Belt: Black/brown leather.
  • Bucket hats: Official school items only. Only worn breaks, before and after school.
  • Beanie: Official school items only. Only worn breaks, before and after school. WINTER ONLY.
  • Scarf: Official school items only. Only worn around the neck. WINTER ONLY.
  • Odie wear: Compulsory for first 2 weeks. LO sport days thereafter.
  • Tracksuit: May only be worn  during June exams / at sports events before and after a maatch is played.
  • Tracksuit top: May never be worn with school uniform.
