Hoërskool FH Odendaal has a Senior and Junior Student Council.
The Senior SC is democratically elected in grade 11 and then serves for the fourth term of the year in which they are elected,
as well as their matric year. Two Presidents, formerly known as the Head boy and Head girl, and four Vice-presidents are elected.
The Junior SC consists of grade 9 learners who are elected at the end of their grade 8 year.
The heads of the council consist of a boy and a girl who are known as Chairpersons.
