Public Speaking Organizer 

This is the process or act of performing a speech to a live audience. 

It is structured with three general purposes: 

To inform, to persuade and to entertain.

Our school promotes public speaking because we believe it is an art of effective communication.

“Public speaking (sometimes termed oratory or oration) is the process or act of performing a presentation (a speech) focused around an individual's direct speech to a live audience in a structured, deliberate manner in order to inform, influence, or entertain them.” This activity, administrated by the Languages Departments, aims to expose learners to speaking in a formal manner to a specific audience. This competition has two categories: Junior (Grade 8-9) and Senior (Grade 10-12) as well as takes place in two events, namely Internal Public Speaking and External Public Speaking against surrounding schools. Topics are decided on annually and judges make use of set rubrics.
